Congratulations, Evangeline from Florida, the 2025 Classical Conversations National Memory Master Champion!
On May 16, 2025, sixteen finalists competed in the Classical Conversations National Memory Master Championship and showcased their incredible memory skills. After a series of challenging rounds that tested even the most prepared competitors, Evangeline claimed the prestigious title and the $10,000 prize!
Evangeline and her family have been in the Classical Conversations Foundations program for seven years and have invested countless hours mastering facts across all three program cycles. She captivated the judges at the championship with her exceptional ability to flawlessly recall hundreds of memory facts, recite the 161 point timeline, sketch a detailed world map, and deliver an original impromptu story from memory.
When not studying memory work, Evangeline enjoys performing in musical theatre, reading good books, and writing stories with her little brother. Evangeline said she loved the opportunity to compete this year, “For me, it was a final celebration of the memory work of Foundations and Essentials and a welcome shift into the Challenge years and deeper learning. The competition was filled with laughter, celebration, and meaningful friendships. It wasn’t about winning; it was about glorifying God.”
Congratulations to everyone who entered this year’s competition! Whether you proofed for the Classical Conversations Memory Master title, submitted a video entry, became a finalist, or won, we celebrate your commitment to diligence and excellence.

What is the National Memory Master Competition?
Each year, sixteen students are selected from across the country to participate in the National Memory Master Championship. This contest is designed to cement and celebrate the knowledge they have acquired over the course of their education.
Participating in National Memory Master requires students to do more than the typical Memory Master in community by reciting memory work from all three cycles, crafting and presenting story prompts, and drawing a world map from memory.
The 2026 competition will be held during a cruise from May 16–21, 2026, on Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas. Each finalist will receive a $1,000 travel stipend along with cruise fares for the finalist and one parent.
In addition to the finalist travel stipend and cruise package, all finalists will be rewarded with an exclusive Great Wolf Lodge experience! During the competition, finalists will compete for the champion prize package, which will be announced this fall.
